High-Feed Shell Mill Features:

Sterling Edge's High-Feed Shell Mills are designed to satisfy today's demand for high feed machining. The geometry of our insert combined with the specific design of our tool bodies and our premium coatings allows for high speed machining of tool steels.

Using light depths of cuts, high-speed machining is capable of low spindle loads because of vertical cutting pressure, less vibration and deflection. This gives you high chip loads per tooth without excessive spindle wear.

Our Trigon indexable insert allows for 3 indexes for added savings.
